Lester William Polfuss died earlier today. One of the most influential musicians of our time, he is credited with the invention and development of multitrack recording, overdubbing (among other production techinques), and of course the Gibson Les Paul, which gave rise to the electric guitar as we know it today. Another, more recent video, after the jump.
