I came across this marvelous video on TED and really needed to share it with you. Seeing this took me back to this time when I was listening to my friend play cello. As he played I realized that while I could hear the sound clearly, I could also feel it. It was hitting me in my stomach at one point, and as the song changed I began feeling it in my legs and then my chest. Music is so much more than just an aural experience, it is of course emotional and mental and also very much a physical experience. And as the video below shows, a visual and artistic experience.
