South African three-piece, Dear Reader put out a great album this spring, and I completely missed it. It's full of pop, but sprawling, heartfelt, but self-aware, electronic but acoustic. Previously called Harris Tweed, they were forced to change their name by the extremely powerful Harris Tweed Authority. I hear they're amazing life, but they lack US tour dates at the moment.
