If you didn't know any better, you might suspect "Colour Television" as being some long-forgotten track from the Marquee Moon sessions. Whereas the band Television sang about coming to terms with life in the modern world, Eddy Current seem to be wholly enmeshed in the modern world, as if the Matrix has already won.

I was introduced to Eddy Current Suppression Ring at some point last year by their second long-player, an amazing record titled Primary Colours. Yes, they spell it the Queen's way -- they're from Australia.

Our second offering today is a great change of pace, ideologically and aurally. "Colour Television" is a song that sees the trappings of modern life and bemoans the lack of escape; "Which Way to Go" is the glass-half-full response. Our modern world is as vast as it is confusing, but these are merely obstacles to be overcome as we figure out which way to go. And we can go everywhere.
