I dislike Vampire Weekend, but that's not why we're here.

This is to let the rest of you east coasters know that they're playing an amazing show this weekend. Why is it amazing, I hear you ask. I actually do hear you asking that, it's really annoying, stop interrupting me.

I'll tell you why. It's because they're playing with Pocahaunted. And that's hilarious, amazing, confusing, weird, heroic. These bands could not be more different from each other, and yet. And yet. This Sunday, these two dichotomous bands are playing the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, CA, together. Life, you never cease to amaze me.

I still dislike Vampire Weekend, however.
