I used to be all about the cold season, but for some reason this year I've been dreading the coming winter. This week in particular has been extra cold and rainy in Richmond and I'm just trying to stay positive, but it hasn't been that hard the past few days because I've been listening to the new single from Yeasayer over and over again. "Ambling Alp" is its name and it is bright, and fun, and loud and oh man is it positive! The lyrics are directly uplifting, but in no way sickening. In fact, you might find yourself fist pumping and saying "Fuck Yeah, I'm going outside!" Also, the video is awesome and bizarre.
