Montreal based band, Clues, put on an excellent show last night at DC9. Poppy, wild, difficult at times, but always resolving gracefully, even my friends who haven't listened to the album greatly enjoyed the performance. Impressively, every member of the band (Alden Penner, Brendan Reed, Ben Borden, Lisa Gamble and Nick Scribner) seemed to play a minimum of three instruments last night, and they played them well.
