If you like punk rock from the 90s, you'd get The Mummies, Teengenerate, and the Oblivians. 

Jack Oblivian, known to his mother as Jack Yarber, is a human-sized monument in Memphis, a founding member of The Oblivians. While his original band has been laid to rest (and briefly resurrected at least a couple of times), Jack continues to make music with different groups and by himself.
