the things we love are taking shape

I have been trying to find the best time to tell you, dear reader, about Thee Oh Sees -- yet no time is exactly right (or perhaps, it is always the right time). To me, everything this band does is on the money. John Dwyer is the engine behind the project, and he has been involved in more bands than you can count on your fingers and toes (notable acts include Coachwhips, The Hospitals, Pink and Brown).

They've put out an album, Help, and a couple singles this year. It's all good, it's all gravy, get on the boat, check 'em out. Paul Rudd joked about playing the bass up high on his chest in I Love You, Man; Dwyer actually plays the guitar that way. Don't believe me? You're a fool.

The band will be on the East Coast this fall; go check 'em out, I promise you won't be disappointed.
